This year, of course, we offered the latest news in boating and maritime life, but also something extra: a focus on young people who want to discover boating and increased safety on our waters. We had eight days filled with inspiration, meetings with passionate profiles and a premiere evening that set the tone for the entire fair.

The Marine stage is home to exciting interviews, panel debates, trend analysis and talks. Passionate boating enthusiasts, curious beginners and industry professionals meet here to discuss everything from innovation and sustainability to adventures on the high seas.

Fun for the kids
Bring the whole family! There is a lot to discover for children. In the Maritime History Museum’s creative workshop, all children were able to visit the Maritime History Museum’s tie-knots School. For those who dream of becoming a captain, there was the opportunity to try dry sailing in an optimist dinghy – a fun introduction to the world of sailing.
Classic Boat Show
An exclusive exhibition of classic boats! It’s a real time travel where you get the chance to admire Swedish rarities from the early 1900s. All boats are carefully cared for by enthusiasts and boat clubs working to preserve Sweden’s boat history.
Young at sea
With a focus on everything that floats – whether powered by wind or engine – we want to attract new target groups with the dream of life on the water.
At Småbåtstorget you will find entry-level boats for our younger captains and at Jolletorget we want to gather and engage both new and experienced sailors.
Safety at sea
Safety and security at sea is a prerequisite for taking advantage of the opportunities that our waters offer. In a time of increasing uncertainty, we highlight relevant seminars and innovations that strengthen knowledge and preparedness for both individuals and businesses.
First Swede in the Golden Globe Race
In September, Pär Nyman will start the Golden Globe Race from Les Sables-d’Olonne, becoming the first sailor ever to compete in the race under the Swedish flag. After the start, eight months on the world’s oceans await, sailing through the notorious waters around Antarctica and past the three great capes.
Swedish Sailing Federation held seminar on March 8
The Swedish Sailing Federation invited to an inspiring seminar where female voices from both racing and leisure sailing shared their stories of drive, development, adventure, community and the desire to be out on the water.
