Young people at sea

We want to inspire the next generation of boating and maritime enthusiasts

Focusing on everything that floats – whether powered by wind or motor – we want to attract new audiences with the dream of life on the water.
At the Small boat square you will find entry-level boats for our younger captains. Here, parents and children can get guidance on what is suitable to start with when going out on the water.
We also have a Dinghy Square, a unique meeting place for class associations, clubs and sailing schools. Here we want to gather and engage both new and experienced sailors.

The Dinghy Square - for children and young people who want to discover the world of sailing

The Dinghy Square became a popular feature when it was introduced in 2025 and now the area is growing further. Here, young sailors are met by class associations, clubs and sailing schools that are happy to help both children and parents find the right way into the world of sailing.

This year we’re creating an even more active and inspiring environment. There are different dinghies to discover in the area and an activity area in the middle full of things to try. Children and young people can try out everything from rigging and trimming to grinder machines and trapeze exercises.

One of the highlights is our fan, which allows aspiring Optimist sailors to experience what it feels like to gybe with wind in the sail. It’s a fun and educational way to understand the basics and get the feeling of being out on the water.

The activity area also features competitions such as e-sailing and VR sailing, as well as comfortable beanbags to sink into between laps. The Maritime History Museum is also on site with its optimist dinghy.

Small boat square

At the Small boat square you will find smaller boats that are perfect for those who are new to the water or if you just want a slightly smaller boat. Here, well-known brands show their most accessible models and help you find the boat that suits your needs.

You can talk to experienced experts who will be happy to advise you on what is important to consider when choosing your first boat. They will give you tips on safety, equipment and how to stay safe on the water so that the start is both fun and safe.

Whether you’re looking for that first boat for the family or a nimble entry-level model for yourself, the Small Boat Market is the best place to get guidance and find the right boat.

World e-Sailing Championships 2026 - live on Allt för sjön

The 2026 Swedish Championship in e-sailing will, as tradition dictates, be held at Allt för sjön, with the final taking place on Sunday 15 March. After six qualifying rounds during the spring, Sweden’s 30 best e-sailors have earned their place in the final, where they will compete for the title of Swedish Champion in e-sailing.

At the same time, the Allt för sjön Cup will also take place – an e-sailing competition exclusively for girls. The top sailors will be rewarded with places in the SM final. Last year’s participants included some of the world’s best female e-sailors, such as Sara “SGR88” Granberg, and Olympic medallist Vilma Bobeck, alongside rising stars like Ida Elfving and Klara Ekstrand.

The final is sailed in the popular simulator Virtual Regatta Inshore, where real winds, tactical decisions, quick reactions and speed determine the outcome. The SM final at Allt för sjön has become a much-loved tradition in the Swedish sailing scene, attracting both spectators and participants.

E-sailing is fast-paced, easy to follow, and a perfect way to experience the thrill of racing – even for those who have never sailed before. At the show, visitors will also have the opportunity to try e-sailing for themselves.

Come along to cheer, try, and be inspired as the Swedish Championship in e-sailing unfolds at Allt för sjön.
