When Allt för Sjön opens its doors, Frida Zetterström will guide us through the opening evening with a confident, warm and enthusiastic presence.

Extensive Experience from Sea and Stage

Frida is an experienced moderator and presenter with many years in both major public events and the sailing world. She has worked with the Lysekil Women’s Match, the GKSS Match Cup in Marstrand and the Volvo Ocean Race, both during stopovers and at the finish in Gothenburg. On these occasions, she has taken on the roles of moderator, presenter and reporter – both on shore and out on the water.

The sea as her home turf

Her connection to the sea is not only professional. Frida spends her summers on western Orust, swims all year round and has sailed everything from Optimist dinghies to e-dinghies and traditional training vessels.

On the Grand Opening Night, you’ll meet a moderator who doesn’t just know the subject – she lives it.

SailGP – sailing at 100 km/h!

SailGP is the fastest international league in sailing, where foiling F50 catamarans fly across the water at speeds of up to 100 km/h, with races decided in a matter of seconds.

On the Grand opening night of Allt för sjön, Swedish sailors Julia Gross and Julius Hallström will take to the Marina Stage to talk about what it’s like to compete together in SailGP, where lightning-fast decisions, teamwork and trust are crucial. Together, they will share insights from life on board at the very top level of competitive sailing.

With a focus on everything that floats – whether powered by wind or engine – we aim to inspire new audiences with the dream of life on the water. At Småbåtstorget, you’ll find entry-level boats for our younger captains, and at the Dinghy Square we aim to bring together and inspire both new and experienced sailors.
