The Baltic Sea Treaty is an agreement aimed at strengthening cooperation and protecting the environment in the Baltic Sea region. It involves the countries around the Baltic Sea, including Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia and Denmark, working together to reduce pollution, preserve marine biodiversity and promote sustainable development in the area. <\/p>\n

The Baltic Sea contract focuses on the main environmental problems, such as eutrophication and discharges of hazardous substances, as well as supporting measures to restore ecosystems. Cooperation also extends to improving ship safety and managing shared resources responsibly. <\/p>\n
