The future of the seas and the Baltic Sea Treaty
In 2022, Allt för sjön launched a completely new sustainability project.
The goal of the project is to annually highlight a charity organization working towards one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of Agenda 2030.
The goals that Allt för Sjön has chosen as our key issues are:
Goal 6: Clean water and sanitation for all
Goal 12: Responsible consumption and production
Goal 14: Sea and Marine resources
For our charitable purpose in 2024, we have chosen Expedition Save the Baltic Sea. The environmental condition of the Baltic Sea has deteriorated gradually over the past hundred years and is today one of the most polluted and sensitive enclosed seas in the world. If nothing radical is done, there is a risk of the entire enclosed sea becoming completely dead, which would be irreversible – something no one wants future generations to live with!
